Set # 6578. Polar Explorer [2000].
Polar Explorer was an Arctic set released in 2000. The set contained one Arctic minifigure, Captain Ross, and a small island of ice with a trans-blue Spider.
Here we see Capt. Ross out exploring and Ice Clump, where he thinks an elusive “Artic Blue Spider” may be hiding. The Captain is lucky this Day for he has found what he is looking for. A large “Artic Blue” slowly climbs about the ice emerging from its den. Luckly this is the artic and this large blue is a bit slow! Not being fond of spiders to begin with…
